Post-Natal Recovery

After waiting for nine months, you have reached the most exciting and fulfilling event in your life-the birth of your baby. The pains of delivery have been rewarded! If you’re first-time mother, you might already have learned from your hospital assistant-and from your own mother-the new responsibilities that you’ll be facing.
But perhaps your first impulse is to hold your newborn. You may feel shocked at the first but later on, the feeling will subside especially when you begin to spend quite days with your baby and of course with the father. It’s important to explore your baby and enjoy your first moment with him. You will discover that your baby is very responsive to this new environment. However, he also feels a greater need for the comfort and protection of the womb, that’s why you have to give him the greatest amount of care.
